studio rental by the hour in santa feThe SFAG Membership is a vibrant community of individuals.
Whether you’re an artist or you simply love the arts, a SFAG Membership opens the door to programs that enrich and inspire
.

One of the goals is to provide our members with a professional network that offers them opportunities for showing their art work in a variety of community- based venues as well as juried art shows. Other benefits will provide members with a lecture series, timely information on art events and activities in the area, member-artists' web site links on the SFAG web site, discounts on the school's classes and workshops, and discounts for retail art materials purchases.

Anyone – artist or non-artist – may become a member of the Santa Fe Artist Guild. Everyone who is sympathetic with our mission is encouraged to join. Although we have part-time administrative staff as well as a professional faculty, we rely on our members for voluntary participation in such aspects of our operations as policy making, mounting group and individual exhibitions, gallery administration, public relations and marketing. Basic membership dues are $40 for adults and $20 for youth (18 and younger).

Becoming a Member

Members of the Artist Guild are divided into two groups: Associate Members and Signature Members.

Associate Members may enter "Open to all Members Juried Guild" shows. All art entered into a Guild show must be original fine art and must be for sale. A portion of all sales proceeds benefits the Santa Fe School of Art and the Guild.

After 90 days of Guild membership, Associate members may apply for Signature Level Status.

Signature Members are working and professional fine artists whose artwork is of a high caliber and have been juried into the Guild as Signature Members.

To become a Signature Member, your work must meet certain criteria and you must submit your work to be juried by an independent juror hired by the Guild.

After attaining Signature Level Status, you may elect to exhibit your art in our Juried Art Shows.

Membership Renewal:
Members are expected to maintain continuous current membership status to enjoy membership priviledges. The Guild mails out a renewal notice well in advance of the renewal date. In addition, to those members who do not respond to the letter, the Guild sends a reminder e-mail.

Each member is responsible for renewing on time.
Any member who does not renew their membership PRIOR to their renewal date (which is clearly indicated on each membership card) will be dropped from the Guild's roster. If that member subsequently rejoins the Guild, they will start the membership process as an Associate Member. This means that former Signature Members will need to again submit their work for the Signature Member jurying program and Associate Members will have to restart the 90 day time clock prior to jurying. Do NOT let this happen to you. Please renew on time!
