The Santa Fe School of Art is pleased to announce the opening of their Los Alamos Campus, located at 216 DP Road in the Village Arts Complex. Los Alamos is located 40 miles Northwest of Santa Fe, nestled in the beautiful Jemez Mountains.
We will be conducting all kinds of exciting art classes and workshops for adults and children in an easy-going and fun atmosphere. Just remember art is not a talent you are born with, just like music it is a learned subject. So no excuses of, "I have no artistic talent whatsoever". If you have the desire you can do anything.
Our instructors are patient and helpful and will guide you through the learning process. With enough practice you will be amazed and proud at what you can accomplish.
With all the distractions of TV, video games, texting and the like, children are not using their creative energy wisely. Art is a wonderful outlet to get the creative side of the brain working, is a far more productive way to spend time and teaches them patience and pride in their accomplishments. Art is a healthy distraction.
